LAS Painting Day at Buscot Park 17th June 2019 (free painting day with complements from our LAS Patron, Lord Faringdon and Lady Faringdon) A painting experience full of enjoyment , courtesy of Lord Faringdon of Buscot was appreciated by a keen group from Lechlade Art Society . The immaculate gardens were stuffed full of flora with delicious rose and peony perfume wafting through the air. Most of us quickly disappeared amongst the water gardens with their features and statues of the Four Seasons in the walled garden - not forgetting the Terracotta Warriors. Lord Faringdon called into the refreshment area with his dog to check that we were enjoying ourselves and Lady Faringdon was seen briefly in the gardens. The weather was reasonable - no rain , not much sun either but perfect really for a day’s painting and sketching. Many thanks to Brian for persuading Lord Faringdon to let us loose alone in his beautiful gardens and a huge thank you Lord Faringdon for allowing us. Barbara Lepojevic
