Painting Days
Painting Days are arranged for several dates each year in the area around Lechlade. We choose venues which offer some indoor cover, incase the weather does not cooperate, and with facilities to prepare drinks, have some lunch and socialise. Sometimes a cafe is available. The day begins at 10.00am and we often work until 4.00pm, especially if the weather is good. Recent favourite locations have included Buscot Park, Buscot village, Coleshill and members' gardens.
Painting Days planned for 2025
We cannot use the Pavilion for the Thursday Group on 28th August 2025 so our Secretary, Melanie, has agreed to host a painting and drawing session in her garden, and possibly another session earlier in the summer. All members welcome - put the date in the diary.

Painting Days organised in 2024
The following painting day took place in 2024. This event was organised by Brian Britton in conjunction with the Lechlade Photographic Society. Unfortunately it was a very wet day and even the hardiest had decided to pack up and go home by 11.30am!
Plein Air at Buscot Park July 2024
Once again Lord Faringdon has kindly agreed to the Society using the grounds of Buscot House for a painting day. This will be on Monday 15th July. Meet in the car park at 10am. Depart by 4pm. Coffee and tea will be available to make yourself in the kitchen but the cafe will NOT be open. Please bring your own picnic. Picnic tables are next to the car park and behind the cafe (in the marquee). Brian Britton
