THURSDAY GROUP
The Thursday Group is an enthusiastic group of between 20 and 30 "regular" members who meet weekly to paint, draw, chat and enjoy each others company in a sociable environment. Visitors are welcome .... see below.
We meet in the Pavilion on Thursdays from 9.30am to 12.30pm. The cost for members (and guests for up to two visits) is £3.00 per session to cover room hire and refreshments. Guests will receive a warm welcome!
During the summer months of June, July and August in 2025, we will be meeting in the Creel Bar (including the marquee and riverside garden) of The Trout Inn, Faringdon Road, Lechlade, Gloucestershire, GL7 3HA from 9.30am until midday. The Trout Inn is located on the A417 road from Lechlade to Faringdon next to St. John's Bridge over the River Thames. There will be no charge for members but please continue to sign the weekly register as normal. You are, of course, welcome to order refreshments at the bar during opening hours and stay for lunch if you want to.
Please note that the indoor area will not be available on Thursday 3rd July due to a prior booking but we are welcome to sit and work outside in the garden. Because of this, Melanie kindly invited the Thursday Group to come and paint or draw in her garden in Little Faringdon on 3rd July.
